The AA series has been designed for loads from 10 to 9000 daN. One of its most important features is the multidirectional reaction which guarantees an optimal response in all axial directions. The fail-safe design prevents detachment of the mounted appliance even if the elastomers should become completely destroyed. Very high shock overloads can be accommodated without detriment. The sheltered design also provides protection for the elastomer contributing to extended service life. This mount may be fixed with either two or four bolts.
Installation Since some pre-compression of the elastomer is provided during mounting to a base, this type of mount must be fixed to both the base (or mounting frame) and the isolated equipment.
